...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 145 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of Big Bend Florida, including the following
  county, Wakulla.

* WHEN...Until 145 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Overflowing poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or
  other areas is occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1038 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Crawfordville, St. Marks, Sopchoppy, Tully, Medart, Spring
    Creek, Arran, Panacea, Buckhorn, Shell Point, Shadeville,
    Liveoak Island, Wakulla Beach and Hyde Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
