...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT THE MUNICIPALITIES OF
SOUTHWESTERN PUERTO RICO FROM GUAYANILLA TO MAYAGUEZ THROUGH 1000 AM
AST...

At 840 AM AST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles southwest of Guanica, moving northwest at 30 to 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph, torrential rainfall, and frequent
         lightning.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
