.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated thunderstorms possible across northwestern
Puerto Rico. Be aware of thunderstorms in your area and be prepared
to take shelter.

.Excessive Rainfall...Ponding of water in roads and poorly
drained areas across eastern and western Puerto Rico. Urban and
small streams flooding is possible.

.Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects most individuals
sensitive to heat, especially those without effective cooling
and/or adequate hydration. Impacts possible in some health
systems and in heat-sensitive industries.

.Wind...Breezy conditions. Unsecured items could blow around.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

The heat threat will continue each day. A moderate risk of rip
currents is expected to return on Sunday.

A strong tropical wave could develop into a tropical cyclone and
move across the Caribbean Sea by early next week. This would bring
and increase in shower and thunderstorm activity across the local
area, as well as promote hazardous seas and life-threatening rip
currents across most east and south facing beaches of the islands.
