Be aware of thunderstorms in your area and be prepared to take shelter. .Excessive Rainfall...Ponding of water in roads and poorly drained areas across eastern and western Puerto Rico. Urban and small streams flooding is possible. .Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects most individuals sensitive to heat, especially those without effective cooling and/or adequate hydration. Impacts possible in some health systems and in heat-sensitive industries. .Wind...Breezy conditions. Unsecured items could blow around. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday The heat threat will continue each day. A moderate risk of rip currents is expected to return on Sunday. A strong tropical wave could develop into a tropical cyclone and move across the Caribbean Sea by early next week. This would bring and increase in shower and thunderstorm activity across the local area, as well as promote hazardous seas and life-threatening rip currents across most east and south facing beaches of the islands. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
