...EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southwest Arkansas, north
central Louisiana, northwest Louisiana, southeast Oklahoma, east
Texas and northeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Internet for more information about the following hazards.

   Excessive Heat Warning.

The combination of high humidity and daytime temperatures in the 90s
to near 100 will result in dangerously hot conditions with peak heat
index values up to 113 degrees today.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Dangerously hot conditions are expected to continue through much of
the week. Aside from this, showers and thunderstorm chances will be
confined to our far southern zones during the week, with more
widespread chances possible late this week and into the weekend.

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.

southwest Arkansas and north central Louisiana.

The combination of high humidity and daytime temperatures in the 90s
to near 100 will result in dangerously hot conditions with peak heat
index values up to 109 degrees today.
