...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN MILLER...
NORTHEASTERN CAMDEN AND SOUTHEASTERN MORGAN COUNTIES THROUGH 715 PM
CDT...

At 649 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Village of Four Seasons, or over Osage Beach, moving southeast at 15
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lake of The Ozarks, Lake of The Ozarks State Park, Osage Beach,
Camdenton, Village of Four Seasons, Lake Ozark, Laurie, Sunrise
Beach, Linn Creek, Bagnell, Brumley, Lakeside, Rocky Mount, Green Bay
Terrace, Lakeview, Freedom, Kaiser, Hurricane Deck, Old Linn Creek,
and Purvis.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If on or near Lake of the Ozarks, get out of the water and move
indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to
10 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you
are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter
now! Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
this storm passes.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
central Missouri.
