...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1115 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central, southwest, and west central Missouri,
  including the following counties, in central Missouri, Hickory. In
  southwest Missouri, Cedar, Dade, Dallas and Polk. In west central
  Missouri, St. Clair.

* WHEN...Until 1115 AM CDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 506 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - This includes the following low water crossings...
    Weaubleau Creek at Highway V, Bear Creek at 60th Road and
    Ingalls Creek at Highway HH.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Bolivar, El Dorado Springs, Stockton, Humansville, Fair Play,
    Polk, Jerico Springs, Halfway, Flemington, Umber View
    Heights, Bearcreek, Arnica, Dunnegan, Masters, Cane Hill,
    Caplinger Mills, Wagoner, Cedar Springs, Filley, Olympia,
    Goodson, Stockton Lake, Pomme de Terre Lake and Stockton
    State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
