Mount Rainier Recreational Forecast

.SYNOPSIS...Strong high pressure builds offshore early this week,
maintaining near normal temperatures through Wednesday in Mount
Rainier National Park with decreasing clouds. Hot and dry conditions
develop Thursday through the weekend as high pressure shifts east
over the region.

.IMPACTS...Strong winds near the summit through Wednesday will
make it difficult to move safely and could produce local whiteout
conditions. A high level of skill and experience in alpine
terrain, including use of GPS, is recommended for navigation and
camping in these conditions.

.TUESDAY...Sunny. A slight chance of showers in the morning. Snow
level near 8000 feet.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...Partly cloudy. Freezing level near 13500 feet.
