...A CLUSTER OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN
WAYNE...SAMPSON AND SOUTHEASTERN CUMBERLAND COUNTIES THROUGH 245 PM
EDT...

At 114 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms stretching from near Salemburg east to near Mount
Olive to near Seven Springs, these storms are moving east at 25 mph.
These storms are moving east with the entire line shifting south and
will soon spread across Clinton, Turkey and Garland.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Goldsboro, Clinton, Mount Olive, Walnut Creek, Eastover, Roseboro,
Stedman, Salemburg, Turkey, and Autryville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Strong winds may occur well ahead of any rain or lightning. Do not
wait for the sound of thunder before taking cover. SEEK SHELTER
IMMEDIATELY inside a sturdy structure and stay away from windows.
