In addition, there is a Marginal Risk (level 1 of 5) of severe
thunderstorms Sunday afternoon and evening. The main threat is local
damaging wind gusts.

Another round of dangerously hot weather is expected on Thursday,
July 4th, and on Friday. Heat index values around 105 will be
possible both days.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central North Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Today will be dangerously hot, with heat index values peaking around
at 100. In addition, overnight lows will fall only in the mid to
upper 70s. These hot conditions will increase the risk of heat-
related illnesses.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Sunday will be dangerously hot, with heat index values peaking
around at 100.

In addition, there is a marginal risk, level 1 out of 5, of severe
storms Sunday and Sunday night. Damaging straight line winds will be
the primary threat, mainly Sunday afternoon and evening.

Another round of dangerously hot weather is expected on Thursday,
July 4th, and on Friday. Shade high temperatures in the mid 90s to
near 100 degrees are expected both days.
