High flows continue for the Upper Arkansas River due to snow melt,
and for portions of the Lower Arkansas River due to reservoir
releases.

High flows and elevated river levels from snowmelt runoff and
reservoir releases will continue for the Arkansas River, from
Leadville down to La Junta.  Cold, swift flowing water and unstable
stream banks pose a hazard for those near the river.  Heed all
directives and orders from law enforcement and local emergency
management.  Do not enter the river!
