...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT GILA AND PINAL COUNTIES THROUGH
445 PM MST...

At 403 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms over Cutter, or near Globe, moving northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Globe, San Carlos, Cutter, and Peridot.

This includes the following highways...
US Highway 60 between mile markers 251 and 256.
AZ Route 70 between mile markers 253 and 271.
AZ Route 77 between mile markers 152 and 170.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
