FOR NORTHEASTERN MONMOUTH AND CENTRAL MIDDLESEX COUNTIES...
At 620 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Matawan, or
near Perth Amboy, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
New Brunswick, Perth Amboy, Long Branch, Sandy Hook, Edison,
Middletown, Old Bridge, East Brunswick, Sayreville, North Brunswick,
Tinton Falls, Holmdel, Red Bank, Matawan, Highlands, Brownville,
Robertsville, North Brunswick Township, Elberon, and Navesink.
This includes the following highways...
New Jersey Turnpike between exits 10 and 12.
Interstate 287 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 3.
Garden State Parkway between mile markers 106 and 130.
