At 721 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts
were located along a line extending from near Barnegat Light to near
Beach Haven to near Brigantine, moving east at 40 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to nearly 50 knots, and small hail.

SOURCE...Public. At 715 PM EDT, a coastal mesonet site gusted to 50
         kt near Mystic Island.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
         hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
         higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Beach Haven, Barnegat Light, North Beach Haven, Garden State North
Reef, Little Egg Reef, Little Egg Inlet, Ship Bottom, Garden State
South Reef, Harvey Cedars, Forked River, and Brigantine.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.
