...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM PDT THIS EVENING...

.DISCUSSION...Today will mark the last day for an ongoing high
pressure ridge lingering over the region, however as this ridge
breaks down, winds will increase and unstable conditions will
promote the potential for extreme fire behavior. A Red Flag
Warning is in effect for the area as a result. Winds will
predominately be out of the Northwest today, before becoming more
terrain-driven across subsequent days. Hot and dry conditions will
persist, with a slight chance of thunderstorms developing at the
site over the weekend.

Sky/weather.........Sunny (0-10 percent). Haze.

Wind (20 ft)........Downslope (South) winds at 2 to 5 mph early,
