.DISCUSSION...Breezy winds will persist through the Cascade Gaps
through Tuesday, with light to locally breezy winds in the
afternoons through the remainder of the week. Marine push today,
lingering into tomorrow, will keep RHs above critical thresholds,
though fire weather conditions will remain elevated. A drying and
warming trend will develop through the remainder of the week as
high pressure builds over the region. Afternoon RHs will decrease
into the lower to mid teens Friday into the weekend. Temperatures
will be increasing into mid to upper 90s, with triple digits
developing in the Columbia Basin/Gorge and central OR by the
weekend.
