...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 930 PM EDT
FOR TUCKER AND SOUTHEASTERN PRESTON COUNTIES...
At 858 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 7 miles southwest of Oakland to near Parsons, moving
east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines, resulting in some
power outages.
Locations impacted include...
Parsons, Davis, Thomas, Hendricks, Hambleton, Benbush, Elk, Lead
Mine, Canaan Valley State Park, Pheasant Run, Blackwater Falls,
Davisville, Cortland, Red Creek, Canaan Hgts, and Saint George.
