...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 330 PM EDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN WESTMORELAND COUNTY...
At 317 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Ligonier, or 8
miles east of Latrobe, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Law enforcement reported trees and wires down south of
Greensburg.
IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines, resulting in some
power outages.
Locations impacted include...
McChesneytown-Loyalhanna, Derry, Ligonier, Laurel Mountain,
Loyalhanna Gorge, and Laurel Mountain State Park.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for southwestern
Pennsylvania.
