This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern
Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A few thunderstorms may move southeast into southeast Missouri
and southern Illinois well after midnight. A brief heavy downpour
and lightning will be the primary concerns.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Heat index values of 105 or greater are expected throughout the
region Wednesday afternoon. Similar heat and humidity is possible on
Thursday, mainly over southeast Missouri.

Multiple rounds of thunderstorms are expected from Wednesday
afternoon through Friday evening. Plentiful instability will
support a few severe thunderstorms throughout the region Wednesday
afternoon and evening, and possibly over southeast Missouri
Thursday afternoon and evening. Damaging winds would be the
primary severe threat. Torrential rainfall will accompany most
storms and eventually could lead to some flash flood potential
Thursday into Friday.

A chance of thunderstorms is forecast again Sunday night into
Monday. Heavy downpours and lightning will be the primary
concerns.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation could be requested throughout the region
Wednesday afternoon and evening, and mainly over southeast
Missouri Thursday afternoon and evening.
