This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southern Illinois, southwest
Indiana, western Kentucky and southeast Missouri.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Dangerous heat index values of 105 to 110 degrees are forecast over
the region on Wednesday. Similar heat index values may continue into
Independence Day for portions of the area.

Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are forecast at times from
Wednesday afternoon through Friday afternoon. Some of the storms may
be severe on Wednesday evening, with damaging winds and large hail
being the main threats.

Several rounds of locally heavy rain are forecast Wednesday
afternoon through Friday afternoon. This may result in areas of flash
flooding.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed Wednesday afternoon into Wednesday
night.
