...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CDT EARLY THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Missouri, including the following
  counties, Bollinger, Butler, Cape Girardeau, Carter, Ripley,
  Stoddard and Wayne.

* WHEN...Until 600 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 247 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause
    urban and small stream flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Poplar Bluff, Dexter, Doniphan, Piedmont, Bernie, Bloomfield,
    Marble Hill, Advance, Lake Wappapello State Park, Greenville,
    Sam A. Baker State Park, Bollinger Mill State Historic Site,
    Puxico, Naylor, Neelyville, Essex, Qulin, Bell City,
    Ellsinore and Fisk.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
