...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 545 AM CDT EARLY THIS
MORNING FOR SOUTHERN JACKSON, UNION, SOUTHWESTERN WILLIAMSON,
NORTHEASTERN BOLLINGER, NORTHERN CAPE GIRARDEAU AND PERRY COUNTIES...

At 303 AM CDT, Rainfall has ended for the time being. It may take
time for flooding issues to develop. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain
have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Carbondale, Perryville, Anna, Jonesboro, Trail Of Tears State
  Park, Cobden, Grand Tower, Altenburg, Daisy, Ware, Cedar Lake
  Area, Alliance, Patton, Makanda, Alto Pass, Frohna, Oak Ridge,
  Gorham, Sedgewickville and Pocahontas.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
