.DISCUSSION...

Friday will be much warmer and drier. A dry cold front will push
across the Gold Creek Fire late Saturday afternoon between
1600 and 1900 PDT. This will result in a wind shift from
east-southeast to out of the north. Clouds will thicken up
on Saturday ahead of the front, but precipitation is not
expected on the fire aside from a few sprinkles. Breezier north
winds with a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms is
expected by Sunday afternoon.

                    fair weather cumulus in the afternoon.
