...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT QUEENS...BRONX...WESTERN
SUFFOLK...KINGS...NEW YORK (MANHATTAN) AND NASSAU COUNTIES THROUGH
445 PM EDT...

At 400 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Whitestone, or over Flushing, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Islip, Jamaica, Flushing, Brentwood, Mott Haven, Levittown, East
Tremont, Commack, Huntington Station, Deer Park, Lindenhurst, Glen
Cove, Plainview, Garden City, and Hauppauge.
