...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL FAIRFIELD AND
EASTERN PUTNAM COUNTIES THROUGH 200 PM EDT...

At 115 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Lake Carmel, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lake Carmel, Sherman, Brookfield, New Fairfield, Patterson, and
Putnam Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM EDT for
