  New York Harbor...

* Until 430 PM EDT.

* At 336 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 8 nm northwest of Mamaroneck Harbor to 9 nm
  northwest of Upper New York Harbor, moving southeast at 45 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and small hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Eastchester Bay and Mamaroneck Harbor around 340 PM EDT.
  Execution Rocks, Hempstead Harbor, Little Neck Bay, Manhasset Bay,
  and Upper New York Harbor around 345 PM EDT.
  Saddle Rock around 350 PM EDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
Wind gusts 34 knots or greater, small hail, high waves, lightning,
and heavy rain are expected with these storms. If caught on the open
water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded metal
objects.
