  Long Island South Shore Bays...

* Until 1100 PM EDT.

* At 926 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 8 nm south of Smithtown Bay to 6 nm northeast of
  Fire Island Inlet to Buoy 44025, moving east at 40 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Buoy 44025 and Great South Bay around 930 PM EDT.
  Moriches Inlet around 950 PM EDT.
  Moriches Bay around 955 PM EDT.
  Westhampton Beach around 1000 PM EDT.
  Shinnecock Bay and Shinnecock Inlet around 1010 PM EDT.
  Buoy 44017 around 1040 PM EDT.

Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
Wind gusts 34 knots or greater, high waves, lightning, and heavy rain
are expected with these storms. If caught on the open water stay
