...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM CDT TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Nebraska, including
  the following counties, in east central Nebraska, Butler, Sarpy
  and Saunders. In southeast Nebraska, Cass, Lancaster, Saline and
  Seward.

* WHEN...Until 300 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1056 PM CDT, trained weather spotters reported heavy rain
    in the advisory area due to thunderstorms. This will cause
    urban and small stream flooding. Between 2 and 3 inches of
    rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Seward, Wahoo, Ashland, Friend, Ceresco, Utica, Dorchester,
    Valparaiso, Mead, Beaver Crossing, Brainard, Weston,
    Staplehurst, Garland, Dwight, Bee, Ulysses, Davey, Goehner
    and Ithaca.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
