...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Nebraska...Missouri...Iowa...

  Missouri River At Rulo affecting Holt and Richardson Counties.

  Missouri River At Nebraska City affecting Fremont and Otoe
  Counties.

  Missouri River At Brownville affecting Nemaha and Atchison
  Counties.

  Missouri River at Plattsmouth affecting Mills and Cass Counties.

  Missouri River At Omaha affecting Douglas, Sarpy and
  Pottawattamie Counties.

  Missouri River Near Blair affecting Washington, Harrison and
  Pottawattamie Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

  forecast.

* WHERE...Missouri River at Rulo.

* WHEN...Until early Sunday morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:45 AM CDT Monday the stage was 23.3 feet...or 6.3 feet
    above flood stage.
  - Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the last 24
    hours was 23.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.7
    feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage
    late Saturday evening.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

  including, North First Street flood in Nebraska City.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:45 AM CDT Monday the stage was 24.0 feet...or 6.0 feet
    above flood stage.
  - Bankfull stage is 18.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the last 24
    hours was 24.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Saturday evening and continue falling to 14.2 feet Thursday,
    July 11.
  - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 40.0 feet, A hiking trail along the river on the
  Nebraska side is likely flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:15 AM CDT Monday the stage was 40.9 feet...or 6.9 feet
    above flood stage.
  - Bankfull stage is 33.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the last 24
    hours was 41.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 41.0
    feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
    flood stage late Saturday evening.
  - Flood stage is 34.0 feet.

* WHERE...Missouri River at Plattsmouth.

* WHEN...Until Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 32.0 feet, The water treatment plant for Plattsmouth
  begins to flood. In addition, River Road begins to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:15 AM CDT Monday the stage was 30.4 feet...or 4.4 feet
    above flood stage.
  - Bankfull stage is 26.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the last 24
    hours was 31.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage Wednesday
    morning to 25.8 feet early Wednesday afternoon. It will then
    rise above flood stage Wednesday afternoon to 26.6 feet early
    Friday morning. It will fall below flood stage again late
    Friday morning.
  - Flood stage is 26.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 30.5 feet, Floodwaters are impacting Interstate
  29/680 near Crescent and northward to exit 71 near Loveland.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:45 AM CDT Monday the stage was 30.5 feet...or 3.5 feet
    above flood stage.
  - Bankfull stage is 27.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the last 24
    hours was 32.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 17.7 feet
    Thursday, July 11.
  - Flood stage is 27.0 feet.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and minor flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Missouri River near Blair.

* WHEN...Until late tonight.

* IMPACTS...At 29.0 feet, Floodwaters are impacting Interstate 29
  between exit 61 near Crescent and exit 71 near Loveland. In
  addition water may begin to enter the Desoto NWR.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 2:45 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 29.1 feet...or 2.6 feet
    above flood stage. This river gage is currently experiencing
    a technical issue. The gage owner expects to have the issue
    fixed today.
  - Bankfull stage is 27.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the last 24
    hours was 29.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    late this evening and continue falling to 20.0 feet Thursday,
    July 11.
  - Flood stage is 26.5 feet.
