...Very Strong Thunderstorms Possible Thursday Afternoon Through
Friday...

An unusually unstable airmass along with very warm surface
temperatures will bring thunderstorms to the North Slope and areas
along the Arctic Coast Thursday afternoon through Friday
afternoon. Some thunderstorms will be quite strong and capable of
producing hail up to 1 inch in diameter, wind gusts up to 50 mph,
and heavy rain and frequent lightning. Most storms will diminish
after midnight Thursday night but a few may continue through the
night. Friday afternoon and evening will bring more strong storms.
Storms will move from south to north.

When thunder roars, head indoors.
