...Discussion from SFOFWFMTR...

...Critically low relative humidity expected across the interior
and in higher terrain this upcoming week, especially Tuesday and
Wednesday...

Temperatures will hover right around seasonal averages throughout
the weekend with relatively light onshore breezes. There is an
Excessive Heat Watch is in effect across our area for Tuesday
through Friday of next week. A strong dome of high pressure across
our region will produce temperatures well above normal and very
low minimum relative humidity values, with poor overnight recovery
anticipated. Please plan accordingly.

...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA...

Seasonable conditions will continue through the weekend with
interior highs near 90. Dry conditions will persist with RH values
dropping to around 20 percent away from coastal influence. At the
same time, a passing upper level disturbance will continue to
enhance northwest flow in the afternoon with gusts of 20 to 30 mph
along high terrain and in wind channeled areas. Dry conditions
combined with enhanced afternoon wind will lead to elevated fire
danger today and Sunday, especially in fine fuels. Calmer but very
hot and dry conditions will build early next week.
