...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of northern Lake, east
central Sanders and central Flathead Counties through 545 PM MDT...

At 439 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Polebridgeo 18 miles west of Big Arm. Movement
was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Kalispell, Polson, Evergreen, Whitefish, Columbia Falls, Bigfork,
Swan Lake, West Glacier, Woods Bay, Jette, Kings Point, Big Arm,
Turtle Lake, Kerr, Lake Mary Ronan, Elmo, Finley Point, Pinnacle,
and Niarada.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 2 between mile markers 102 and 180.
 Highway 83 between mile markers 64 and 90.
 Highway 93 N between mile markers 56 and 127.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
