Coastal waters from Pensacola FL to Pascagoula MS out 20 NM... Eastern Choctawhatchee Bay... Pensacola Bay Area including Santa Rosa Sound... Perdido Bay Area... Waters from Okaloosa-Walton County Line to Pensacola FL from 20 to 60 NM... Waters from Pensacola FL to Pascagoula MS from 20 to 60 NM... Western Choctawhatchee Bay... Until 1130 AM CDT.... At 1027 AM CDT...A few waterspouts have developed over the Gulf waters south of Pensacola Beach this morning, and conditions support the development of additional waterspouts. Showers out over the coastal waters are moving east at 20 knots. Locations impacted include... Mary Esther, Fort Walton Beach, Big Lagoon, Pensacola Beach, Pensacola Pass, Destin, Fort Pickens, Okaloosa Pier, Navarre Beach, and East Santa Rosa Sound. The primary threats from these waterspouts are wind gusts up to 30 knots and locally higher waves. Boaters should consider seeking safe harbor until these waterspouts have passed. Weather conditions support the development of waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous waves and seas.
