.DISCUSSION...
Southeasterly winds of 10-15 mph will continue overnight and
throughout the day Tuesday. Some breezier winds are possible
during the same time period, but the strongest gusts of 25-30 mph
are expected Tuesday afternoon and evening. Showers and
thunderstorms will move through on Tuesday as an area of low
pressure moves across Wisconsin which will be followed by a cold
front Tuesday evening. Heavy rain is currently the primary threat,
with the highest rainfall amounts forecast across southwestern
Wisconsin. Winds will then shift to a westerly direction behind
the cold front by Wednesday morning. With the rain Tuesday, Min
RHs will be generally around 70-75%, but with lower values near
55-60% expected across far southeastern Wisconsin.
