...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN JONES...CENTRAL
LENOIR...NORTHWESTERN CRAVEN...NORTHWESTERN ONSLOW AND NORTHEASTERN
DUPLIN COUNTIES THROUGH 515 PM EDT...

At 433 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Kinston to near Deep Run to near
Beulaville. Movement was east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Kinston, Phillips Crossroads, Richlands, Beulaville, Deep Run,
Comfort, Fort Barnwell, Potters Hill, Petersburg, Pleasant Hill, Wyse
Fork, Richlands South, Pink Hill, Lyman, Dover, Sandy Bottom, Cove
City, Hargetts Crossroads, and Trenton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
