This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for eastern North Carolina.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

   Moderate Rip Current Risk.
   Heat Advisory.

A cold front will cross eastern NC late today into tomorrow. Along
and ahead of the front, showers and thunderstorms could becoming
strong to severe. Damaging wind gusts and localized flooding due to
heavy rain will be the primary hazards.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Heat and humidity will return at the end of the week with heat
indices potentially exceeding 105 degrees.

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
