The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal waters from princeton to Ocean Reef FL from 40 to 50 NM
  excluding the territorial waters of Bahamas...

* Until 230 PM EDT.

* At 141 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing
  waterspouts were located along a line extending from 30 nm east of
  Soldier Key to 16 nm east of Triumph Reef to 13 nm east of Pacific
  Reef. The severe thunderstorms were nearly stationary.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor
immediately.
