.DISCUSSION...
Fire weather concerns continue to remain low through the period
with increasing moisture being the main factor. Storm coverage
will increase today into the weekend as a cold front enters the
area. While wetting rains are possible, lightning starts and gusty
and erratic winds continue to be the biggest concern with any
storms that develop. Much of the region is seeing ERC values
nearing the 75th percentile, especially in the Permian Basin, and
this will continue to increase until we see more widespread
rains. Recovery will be moderate to excellent.
