The severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out of
the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for
southern and central Maryland...and northern Virginia.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 815 PM EDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN PRINCE GEORGES...NORTHWESTERN CHARLES AND
SOUTHEASTERN FAIRFAX COUNTIES...
At 747 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Fort Belvoir,
moving southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches to
fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as damage
homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by downed
trees. Localized power outages are possible. Unsecured
light objects may become projectiles.
Locations impacted include...
Waldorf, Clinton, Fort Washington, Fort Hunt, La Plata, Fort Belvoir,
Saint Charles, Mount Vernon, Accokeek, Bryans Road, Brandywine, Mason
Neck, Potomac Heights, Pomfret, Port Tobacco Village, Port Tobacco,
White Plains, Ripley, and Northwood.
