.NOW...
Through 11 pm...a broken area of showers and embedded thunderstorms
will continue to affect much of the southern Texas Panhandle, with
more isolated activity possible into the northern South and
Rolling Plains. The strongest storms will be capable of producing
brief downpours, wind gusts in excess of 45 mph, small hail and
cloud to ground lightning. The activity was moving very slowly,
generally sagging south and eastward. The best chance for a little
rain will be north of a Muleshoe to Kress to Silverton line.
