Through 1015 PM CDT: Scattered showers and thunderstorms will
continue to drift northeastward across portions of the extreme
southern Texas Panhandle and South Plains. These cells will be
capable of producing strong wind gusts in excess of 50 mph and
brief, heavy rainfall. Cloud-to-ground lightning may occur in
rain-free areas. The severe weather threat is low.
