...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 AM CDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN BOONE AND CENTRAL AUDRAIN COUNTIES...

At 1145 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles east of
Centralia, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Public weather station.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Mexico, Centralia, Hallsville, Rush Hill, Benton City, Vandiver, and
Thompson.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
