For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 30.3 inch high will gradually build east across the
Great Lakes region through tonight. The high will then cross New
England on Tuesday before moving off the East coast Tuesday night
and Wednesday. A cold front extending from a 29.4 inch low near
Hudson Bay will cross the lake Wednesday night, before stalling
out just south of New York State Thursday through Friday.

.THIS AFTERNOON...Northwest winds 5 to 15 knots becoming
southwest. Waves 1 to 3 feet subsiding to 1 foot or less.
.TONIGHT...West winds 10 knots or less becoming southwest. Waves
1 foot or less.
.TUESDAY...Southwest winds less than 10 knots becoming east 10 to
15 knots. Waves 2 feet or less.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...East winds 5 to 15 knots becoming south. Waves
1 to 2 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...South winds 15 to 20 knots becoming southwest 10 to
15 knots. Showers likely with a chance of thunderstorms. Waves
1 to 3 feet building to 2 to 4 feet, then subsiding to 1 to
3 feet.
.THURSDAY...West winds 10 knots or less becoming north. Waves
2 feet or less.
.FRIDAY...Northeast winds 5 to 10 knots becoming south. A chance
of showers and thunderstorms. Waves 1 foot or less.
