...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR NORTHERN WOODFORD COUNTY IS
CANCELLED...

The severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved into
Scott and Fayette Counties. Therefore, the warning for Woodford
County has been cancelled.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM EDT for
central Kentucky.

FOR SOUTHEASTERN SCOTT AND NORTHERN FAYETTE COUNTIES...

At 329 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Highlands,
moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Lexington, Georgetown, Meadowthorpe, Thoroughbred Acres, Cardinal
Hill, Bryan Station, Northland, Highlands, Viley, and Spindletop
Estates.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
