This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern Indiana
and central Kentucky.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A warm and very muggy air mass will lead to peak afternoon heat index
readings in the 100 to 105 degree range.

Scattered storms will be possible, especially this afternoon and
evening. Locally torrential downpours and gusty winds will be the
main threats.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters are welcome to report instances of strong gusty winds with
thunderstorms today and tonight. Spotters and CoCoRaHS volunteers are
encouraged to report locally torrential downpours and any water
issues.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Storms this afternoon and evening will move from west southwest to
east northeast around 15 to 25 mph.

Any users of this storm motion must be aware that thunderstorm
activity can be erratic and constantly evolving. Please use this with
caution and be prepared for changing conditions.
