Through noon, large areas of rain with embedded scattered showers will be found along the island chain and surrounding near through offshore waters, mainly in and around the Lower and Marquesas Keys and Key Largo. This activity will move west to northwestward at 10 to 15 mph. The stronger will be capable of producing a few lightning strikes, wind gusts of 25 to 30 mph, and reduced visibility in heavy rain. Island location along the Lower Keys, as well as North Key Largo, will be most likely to receive additional rainfall of one quarter to three quarters of an inch. $$
