Through 6 pm, an outflow boundary from collapsing thunderstorms is
moving north from the coast of Cuba and into the outer Straits of
Florida, mainly south of the Lower Keys. This outflow is moving at
near 20 knots and will be capable of sudden wind shifts from the
south with gusts to near 25 knots. In addition, new showers and
thunderstorms may develop along this line as it moves into our
waters. Additional threats would be bouts of lightning and heavy
downpours.
