Through 1000 am, numerous showers with a few embedded thunderstorms will be found along the island chain and surrounding near through offshore waters. This activity will move west to northwestward at 10 to 15 mph. The stronger activity will be concentrated off of the Upper Keys, and will be capable of producing a few lightning strikes, wind gusts near 30 mph, and blinding downpours. Island location along the Lower Keys will be most likely to receive additional rainfall of three quarters to one and one half of an inch of rain. $$
