Through 0500 AM, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will build across the Florida Straits, Hawk Channel, nearshore gulfside waters, and the Florida Keys. The clusters of showers are moving west at about 10 to 15 mph. Strongest showers are currently located south of Wood`s Wall and are capable of generating stray lightning strikes, wind gusts of 25 to 30 mph, and reduced visibility during moderate to heavy downpours. Island communities could see rainfall accumulations of a tenth to a quarter of an inch. $$ AJP
