...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 AM EDT EARLY THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...The Flood Advisory is for a portion of southeast Kentucky,
  and includes portions Floyd, Knott, Letcher, and Pike counties.

* WHEN...The Flood Advisory is in effect until 530 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low lying and poor drainage areas is
  expected.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 316 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms had
    produced heavy rainfall. Minor flooding is ongoing or
    expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
  - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
    Wheelwright, Fleming-Neon, Pippa Passes, Greenleaf, Halo,
    Hall, Deane, Dry Creek, Speight, Ehkhorn Mine, Democrat,
    Burton, Melvin, Baker, Buckingham, Kite, Hemphill, Ivan,
    Topmost and Omaha.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
