...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Kentucky, including
  the following counties, in east central Kentucky, Estill. In
  southeast Kentucky, Jackson, Lee and Owsley.

* WHEN...Until 745 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 441 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Banford, Earnestville, Wild Dog, Delvinta, Cressmont, Arvel,
    Old Orchard, Caryton, Yellow Rock, Ida May, Heidelberg, New
    Zion, Vincent, Travellers Rest, Willow Shoals, Wind Cave,
    Lakes, Pebworth, Green Hall and Sturgeon.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
